Description

Outpatient Internal Medicine locums in Connecticut with no call and a predictable weekday clinic schedule, seeing an established Medicare panel with EPIC and strong on site support.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient preventative care and traditional primary care, majority age 65+
• Typical conditions include diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, CHF, CAD history, mild cognitive impairment
• 16 to 18 patients per day
• Support includes nurse practitioners plus MA scribe support and clinic RNs

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, full time clinic coverage
• No call
• 3 month minimum commitment, with potential to extend
• Credentialing runs about 30 days, plan drug screen results about 2 weeks before start

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Connecticut medical license required
• Comfort managing longitudinal care in an older Medicare population
