Internal Medicine Specialist Opportunity at Los Angeles Animal Specialty Emergency and Rehabilitation (LAASER) 


Los Angeles Animal Specialty Emergency and Rehabilitation – LAASER is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine Specialist to join our growing multi-disciplinary specialty and emergency hospital. Our Internal Medicine Specialist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing complex medical cases, providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services for a wide range of internal medicine conditions. This role involves performing and interpreting advanced diagnostics, including ultrasound, endoscopy, and other specialized procedures, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and collaborating closely with our emergency, critical care, surgery, neurology, and specialty teams to deliver exceptional patient care. Additionally, the Internal Medicine Specialist will communicate with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and prognosis while maintaining accurate and thorough medical records. What We Are Looking For:

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Board certification or Board-Eligible in ACVIM
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
• Strong clinical skills and confidence in performing advanced cardiology procedures
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work within a multi-specialty environment
