The Division of Allergy and Immunology, Barbara and Donald Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is seeking a board eligible/board certified Allergist for an academic position at our Great Neck practice.
The Division of Allergy and Immunology has a very large population of children and adults with a wide variety of atopic diseases, and others with genetically defined primary immunodeficiency disease. The Division also treats adults and children with secondary and acquired immunodeficiency disease resulting from successful treatment of autoimmune disease or cancer. The Division houses a Jeffrey Modell Diagnostic Center with a fully staffed research laboratory in The Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research within the Northwell Health System. There are 9 Internal Medicine and Pediatrics A&I faculty members, 4 fellows in a nationally recognized, ACGME accredited, A&I fellowship program, 3 PAs, 1 FNP, a Doctor of Pharmacy, and 5 nurses in the Division. There are 4 centers of excellence in the A&I Division, including, the Food Allergy Center, the Drug Allergy and Desensitization Center, the Pediatric Asthma Center linked to the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York, and the Primary Immunodeficiency Disease Center.
