Company Overview
The School of Nursing at the University of Minnesota was established in 1909, and is distinct in being the first continuing nursing program on a university campus. We offer baccalaureate, masters and doctoral education. As an integral part of the University of Minnesota, our school provides a rich and stimulating research environment. Current research efforts encompass an array of topics, emphasizing health promotion and health intervention for vulnerable populations across the life span. The University’s culture strongly supports collaboration with renowned scholars in departments and disciplines across the campus and with industry partners. The schools mission is to generate and disseminate to students, colleagues, the wider community, and the world, knowledge necessary for improving the health of individuals, families, and populations. The school supports several nationally prominent centers, including the Center for Gerontological Nursing, the Center for Child and Family Health Promotion, a P20 Center for research on health trajectories, and the Katharine J. Densford International Center for Nursing Leadership. Based on expertise and interest, faculty will join one of three established areas of scholarship: (1) Adult, Gerontological Health, (2) Child and Family Health, or (3) Population Health and Systems
Company History
The University of Minnesota was established in 1851, and is Minnesota's flagship land grant university. In addition to the Minneapolis/St. Paul campuses, the U of MN has campuses in Crookston, Duluth, Morris and Rochester.

Benefits
