Company Overview
The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee's Center on Age & Community is a collaboration that brings together the people and resources of Southeastern Wisconsin to work on issues in aging such as healthcare, public policy, education and research. Our purpose is to bring the university and community together to:
• Offer degree and non-degree programs in gerontology so that practitioners working with older people will learn the latest techniques and gain on-site learning experiences through internships and service learning opportunities in the field of aging.
• Expand community partnerships and outreach through sponsored seminars, symposiums, conferences and programs on cutting edge research.
• Greatly expand research and study of aging.
