Non-Invasive Cardiologist Opportunities – San Antonio, Texas
University Health’s Heart and Vascular Institute is actively recruiting highly skilled cardiologists. University Health, the third largest public health system in Texas, is rapidly growing its cardiovascular service line. Currently, cardiology services are provided across the inpatient and outpatient settings. Inpatient cardiology services are provided at University Hospital with over 700 beds, 6 state of the art catheterization laboratories, a robust cardiovascular ICU with a 24/7 inpatient critical care service, advanced cardiac imaging, a busy VA ECMO program, growing structural heart program, and multidisciplinary PERT and limb salvage teams. Outpatient ambulatory facilities and imaging span multiple locations across San Antonio. University Health is also preparing for future expansion through two new community hospitals and multiple outpatient clinics with cardiac catheterization laboratories, non-invasive imaging and clinics scheduled to open in early 2027. We are looking for well-trained, team-oriented physicians to help build a nationally recognized leader in cardiovascular care. Summary:
Outpatient clinical practice, Monday – Friday
Up to four-six weeks of inpatient rounding (not assigned to clinic that week) with occasional weekend call
Specific area/s of interest supported: cardio metabolic/prevention, Women’s cardiovascular health, vascular medicine and/or advanced cardiac imaging (ECHO, CT, MRI, Nuclear, PET)
Opportunity to teach medical students and residents/fellows
