About the College

The Australasian College of Paramedicine (the College) is the peak professional association for paramedics in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The College represents and supports over 10,000 paramedics and student paramedics. The College champions the role of paramedics in emergency, primary, and palliative care, and we are committed to enhancing patient-centred care for the community.

About the role

After an organisational review the College brought together the membership and events team to create the Member Services team, with a focus on quality member services and engagement activities, combined with conferences and events. The College is looking for a Member Services and Events Manager to take on this newly created role, to enhance our member (and non-member) engagement.

The role requires both customer / member services experience with events and conference experience, ideally in the not-for-profit / member association space.

  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Communication team to ensure the effective marketing and promotion of events and member services activities.
  • Manage the development of new member content, member programs and other identified member objectives.
  • Effectively manage, mentor and support 4 staff and oversee call centre contractor.
  • Support the operations team with advice and best practice in relation to events and membership.

Role benefits

  • Work from home (no more commuting, saving you money and time each day)
  • Genuine work-life balance with flexible working arrangements
  • Laptop and mobile phone provided, as well as additional home office equipment as required
  • Values-based culture and team-oriented working environment
  • Work with a team of remote workers who enjoy what we do and the impact we make
  • Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
