Seeking an experienced Radiology Manager in each of our Coastal Hospitals in Newport and Lincoln City, Oregon.

  • Assists the Director of Radiology in managing the operations, productivity, and leadership of Imaging Services. Assists the Radiology Director in the day-to-day coordination of all Imaging and Cath Lab exam schedules. Provides technical and managerial support for the effective and efficient delivery of Imaging Services under the supervision of the Director of Radiology and Attending Radiologist(s).


The Diagnostic Imaging teams at Samaritan Health Services utilize state-of-the-art imaging technology in order to provide Physicians and healthcare teams with the clinical information needed to assist them with an expedient diagnosis. Imaging services include: X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Densitometry, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET-CT, Ultrasound services, and Interventional/Cath Lab modalities.



  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and current ARRT Registration. An additional Oregon Radiology licensure in Diagnostic Imaging will be required within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Radiology Managerial experience in a fast-paced radiology healthcare environment required; background in a trauma center highly considered.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Radiology Procedures, Medical Terminology, Microsoft Office proficient, PACS, Kronos Payroll, ICD 9 and 10 Coding, and Patient Experience centered.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS


  • Quality Control and Safety: Knowledge of tests, products, services, and processes. Knowledge of Radiation safety practices and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards of service and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Problem Solving, Stress Management, and Time Management: Ability to identify complex problems, review related information, employ creativity and alternative thinking to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to maintain patience and composure in high stress and difficult situations. Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fast paced
  • Communication, Community Relations, and Conflict Resolution: Effective written and oral communication skills to communicate complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully problem solve. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to understand information and ideas. Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external customers in relation to the organization and to represent the organization in a professional manner. Aptitude to proactively resolve conflicts in a positive and constructive method. Possess the knowledge and skills to address complaints, settle disputes, and negotiate with others to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Confidentiality, Compliance, and Health Information Technology: Knowledge of and ability to comply with State and Federal (HIPAA) laws pertaining to confidentiality of protected health information and how it applies to health information technology. Possess judgment skills to resolve legal, financial, and administrative problems.
  • Team Building and Project Management: Ability to work, function, and communicate on a multi-disciplinary team. Possess the knowledge and skills to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time. Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize multiple fast-moving projects with changing priorities, drivers, and dependencies. Ability to work independently or as part of an integrated team to achieve a common goal.
  • Labor Union negotiation and management experience a useful skillset for this leadership opportunity.
